Basic Life Support

The course includes safety precautions, initial assessment, recovery position, CPR, compression-only CPR, heart attacks, defibrillators, fainting, shock, bleeding, epilepsy, diabetes and choking. This is also ideal for nurses, care workers or medical professionals needing annual updates to complete professional membership

Emergency First Aid

The course includes safety precautions, initial assessment, CPR, compression-only CPR, recovery position, heart attacks, defibrillators, hypoxia, drowning, asthma, choking, shock, bleeding, burns, fractures, epilepsy and diabetes.

This course is for people who want to become an accredited First Aider.

First Aid at Work

The course includes safety precautions, initial assessment, patient communication, CPR, compression-only CPR, recovery position, heart attacks, defibrillators, hypoxia, drowning, asthma, choking, shock, bleeding, burns, fractures, epilepsy, stroke, diabetes, anaphylactic shock, spinal injuries and extremes of temperature. Any role specific risks can be included.

This course is for people who want to become an accredited First Aider, where your workplace first aid assessment indicates a certificate in Emergency First Aid At Work is required (EFAW).

Immediate Life Support

The course is run in accordance with current UK Resus Council Guidelines https://www.resus.org.uk/ and is suitable for Medical & Dental Professionals. To participate in this course you must have a valid BLS or EFA qualification.

Paediatric First Aid

The course includes everything in Emergency First Aid with the emphasis on Paediatrics. It also includes croup, electric shock, eye injuries, febrile convulsions, head injuries, extremes of heat, meningitis, minor injuries, nose bleeds, sickle cell, smoke inhalation, sprains and strains and unconsciousness.

This course is for anyone who is responsible for children on a daily basis.

Refresher Courses

All of the previously listed courses are available as refreshers providing your current qualification is no more than 28 days overdue.

Fire Training Details

Fire Awareness & Extinguisher Training

The course includes basic awareness of fire and precautions and the use of fire extinguishers.

Fire Marshal Training

The course includes action to be taken on discovering a fire, common causes of fire, fire drills and evacuation, fire safety legislation, fire safety precautions, the chemistry of fire, the role of the fire marshal and using fire extinguishers.

It is a legal requirement for all businesses with 5 or more employees to have at least one Fire Marshal.
